Reitz will host a grazing meeting
on their farm iear Shamokin on
Thursday, Sept. 11, from 12 p.m.
to 2 p.m.
The meeting is being spon
sored by Project Grass and the
Northumberland County Conser
vation District. The Reitzes are
converting their operation to an
intensive grazing system. They
milk a large Holstein herd. The
Reitzes are also completing a
project with the CREP program
to establish a pasture watering
system and streambank fencing.
