and gilts sold mostly 2.00-4.00 higher.
Supply included some high quality lean
hogs which drew very good buyer atten
tion. Barrows and gilts are trading from
47.50-48.00 at the terminal market in
Sioux Falls on Monday, which is mostly
1.25 higher. All hogs are sold by the hun
dred weights.

SLAUGHTER PIGS: Receipts: 241;
Last Week: 308; Year Ago: 264.
Compared to last week, the bulk of the
slaughter pigs sold with a firmer under
tone, especially the U.S. 1-2,30-35 pound
ers which sold sharply higher in active
trading. The only exception was the U.S.
1-2, 20-25 lb pigs which sold as much as
50.00 lower due to very light buyer inter
est. All pigs consigned to the Wednesday
graded sale continue to go to slaughter as
mandated until further notice. All pigs
are graded on arrival, and sold on their
in-weights; with prices below quoted per
hundred weight.
