Compared to last Monday, barrows
and grits sold 2.00 to 2.75 lower. Majority
of the supply was made up the 45-50 per
cent 220-270 pound hogs. Barrows and
gilts are trading at 42.50 at the terminal
market in Sioux Falls on Monday, which
is 75 higher than there last Thursday
market. All hogs are sold by the hundred
weights.

were mostly steady to firm on a light run,

SLAUGHTER PIGS: Receipts; 308;
I.ast Week: 303; Year Ago: 473.
Compared to last week, slaughter pigs
sold mixed, with Graded hogs mostly
20.00- lower on lots that were com
parable, while As-ls hogs trading mostly
steady on an above average quality run.
Demand was light for the lighter weight
more attractive U.S. 1 and 2 and buyer at
tendance was lighter than last week. The
supply comprised of 83 percent graded
pigs with a lighter run of as- is pigs com
pared to last week. All pigs continue to go
to slaughter as mandated until further no
tice. All pigs are graded on arrival, and
sold on their in- weights; with prices
below quoted per hundred weight.
