    Bou-Matic Introduces
Pulse-O-Rater Pulsation
MADISON, Wis. Bou-Matic has announced
the addition of the Pulse-O-Rater 1 " line of pulsation
monitoring equipment for dairy producers. Bou-
Matic has reached an exclusive agreement with Sen
se Ability, Inc. of Stephenville, Texas, to distribute
the Pulse-O-Rater, the first 24-hour/7-day per week,
continuous pulsation monitoring system.
The Pulse-O-Rater is designed to alert dairy pro
ducers through a red light-green light system,
around the clock, if changes or malfunctions within
pulsation are detected. The Pulse-O-Rater elec
tronic device has been granted a patent for its tech
niques in monitoring pulsator performance
continuously during the milking process. Bou-Matic
plans to distribute the Pulse-O-Rater worldwide.
Now, dairy producers can rely on the Pulse-O-
Rater to monitor their pulsation system continu
ously during milking.

Miklic Hired As Area Sales
Manager For ABS
DeFOREST, Wis. David Miklic was recently
hired by ABS Global as an area sales manager for
western Pennsylvania.
“Dave has extensive knowledge of the dairy in
dustry,” said District Sales Manager Dale Wack.
“His prior experience in breeding and mating cattle
in the A.I. industry will be a plus for the custom-
ers.”
Miklic is a 2001 graduate of Penn State with a
degree in Animal Science. While attending Penn
State, Miklic was an active member of the dairy
judging team and dairy science club. Prior to joining
ABS, he spent three years working in the A.I. indus
try: first as an intern and later as a breeding pro
gram specialist. During that time, he was also an
active dairy judge for 4-H type and showmanship.
As area sales manager, Miklic will be responsible
for the direct sales of semen and A.I. services to both
the dairy and beef customers in his area. He will
also provide GMS Evaluations in ABS customer’s
herds in southcentral and western Pennsylvania.
