Garlic Goodness
Mosquitoes evidently don't like garlic Some people
swallow slivered garlic to ward otf these summer
pests Pet owners often give a small clove of garlic,
wrapped in a bit of meat, to dogs or cats to help repel
fleas. Containing crotonaldehyde, garlic has been
shown to be effective against diseases of the
nose, throat, and intestines. Aristotle
j I believed that garlic cured hydrophobia (tear
of water), and folklorists list it among
// / \ cures for jealousy, sneezing fits, baldness.
