Trucklot buying activity was noted as
light to fair during midweek trading. Of
ferings of bone-in breasts remained avail
able and boneless skinless breasts were
sufficient. Tenderloins were at least ade
quate.
The balance of cuts were adequate but
manageable. Retail and distributive
movement was no better than fair. The
market tone was cautiously steady on
bone-in breasts and about steady on the
balance.

to ample, frozen adequate to burdensome.

volume of 6 months and newer frozen de
strapped tenderloins for domestic ship
ments, balance slow. For domestic; fresh

Grain and soybean bids were mostly
higher for the day. Wheat bids were mix
as funds rolling long positions was noted
lowering the market. In the Midwest soft
red winter wheat fields are drying out but
hard red winter wheat areas are looking
good for harvest the rest of the week.
Com found support from the stronger
soybean trade, while soybean was sparked
by strength in the oil trade. Wheat was
uneven, from 4 cents lower to 3 cents
higher. Com 2-3 cents higher. Sorghum 4
cents higher. Soybeans 6-8 cents higher,
except Kansas City which was 11 cents
higher.
