Trade sentiment was mostly steady to
about steady. Demand into ail channels
covered the full range and showed signs
of typical mid-week activity; however,
movement was better for retail ads and
fast food. Supplies were usually sufficient
for needs with heavier weights at times
ample. In the parts structure, trading was
light to fair and generally limited to regu
lar commitments. Breast items were at
least adequate and attractively priced to
help move, wings were adequate to ample
with little interest, and dark meat was in
the best balance and clearing well. In pro
duction areas, live supplies were moder
ate with weights in a full range.

Trucklot buying activity on ready-to
cook whole broiler/ffyers remained fair at
best as dealers limited orders to most im
mediate needs. Offerings of all sizes were
generally adequate and clearing well
under normal premiums. Retail and dis
tributive movement was mostly fair. The
market tone was steady.
