Prices were unchanged in ail areas.
Trade sentiment was generally steady.
Demand at retail outlets was light to oc
casionally fairly good. Supplies were ade
quate to available for present trade needs.
Breaking stock supplies were tight to suf
ficient for the moderate to good demand.
The National shell egg inventory was 5%
less than the previous week. Light type
hens were generally adequate for the fair
to moderate demand.

DOMESTIC MARKET HIGH
LIGHTS: The market tone was steady to
barely steady on frozen 8-16 lb hens and
16-24 lb toms. Light sales of private label
hens and toms basted, netted with a timer
was reported. Offerings were folly suffi
cient for the current lackluster demand.
Bulk parts and meats trading was slow to
materalize. Demand from buyers unag
gressive.
EXPORT HIGHLIGHTS: Trading in
active. Demand light to moderate with
most buyers taking a wait and see atti
tude and unwilling to purchase product at
any price. Supplies adequate.

KET: Majority prices were irregular on
heavy canners, unchanged to slightly
higher on lights when compared to a
week earlier. Demand ranged light to
moderate. Trading was very light on
heavy canners. Offerings were in close
balance to tight. The undertone was
steady on heavy canners; at least steady
on lights.
