Getting To Devon
(Continued from Page El 9)
At right Jocelyn Martin rides Town and Country,
or “Lily,” her barn name, in 1995 at Devon in the
first year green division. The horse is owned by Mrs.
Richard Short of Virginia Beach, where the horse is
now living. Photo by Pennington
Martin has been competing in the show ring since she was four years old. In
this 1991 picture she competes with her own Silver Hill at Harrisburg’s Pennsyl
vania National Horse Show. In “Teddy’s” first year of showing he qualified to go
to all the major horse shows. Additionally, he won a class at Devon after only
five months of showing. He has retired to the farm but still enters the show ring
with some of the children who take lessons and ride at Lodestone Farm.
