Trade sentiment was steady. Demand
into all channels was mostly light to fair,
moderate for fast food promotions, but
improvements expected as the weekend
and first of the month nears. Supplies
were sufficient with heavier weights at
times fully adequate to ample. In the
parts structure, breast items were suffi
cient to close, wings were irregular, rang
ing at least adequate in the East, to closer
balanced, and dark meat was readily
available. In production areas, live sup
plies were moderate. Weights were desira
ble to heavy, but mostly desirable.
