This small village is in Northwest Moldova just across the border from Romania. I worked with a new dairy cooper ative to assist them with a finan cial analysis of their business. With the collapse of the Soviet Union, the entire infrastructure in the village collapsed. This was a very pros perous place. You could see it in the houses in the village. They had large collective farms that produced dairy products as well as fruits and vegetables. They even had a mill for processing flour.
