Summary Illinois, Indiana, Michigan,
and Ohio: Feeder cattle prices trended
weaker this week. Light demand along
with slow trading continued this week.
Sporadic future prices in addtion to ex
tended winter storms has slowed trading
activity. Reported sales consisted of about
29% beef steers, 71% heifers and 0% Hol
stein steers. Approximately 85% of the
cattle marketed this week weighed over
600 lbs. Confirmed sales 754 this week,
600 last week and 500 last year.
