Louden Farm was retrofitted from a
double 5 tandem parlor to the new
Germania double 16 all stainless
steel fastback stalls. The parlor was
installed between milkings.
The parlor comes complete with an
Afimilk information system with
two sort gates and stainless steel
arm take-off automation.
Vacuum is supplied through a
Delaval 15 hp lobe and Etron drive.
The receiving system consists of two
24 inch receivers with 2 hp milk
pumps and variable speed drives.
Cooling is done by a 6000 gallon
Delaval tank and Delaval commer
cial plate cooler.
The Laudenslauger family is milking
130 cows an hour with a current
somatic cell count of 220,000 and it
has been consistently dropping.
