Daily National Grain Market Summary St. Joseph, MO March 5, 2002 Report Supplied By USDA Weather and export news remain the motives for up and down movement of gram and soybean bids Wheat 2 to 9 cents lower Corn 1 cent higher Sorghum 2 cents higher Soybeans 3 to 4 cents lower Wheat bids were moderately lower after learning that Egypt bought French origin wheat instead of US wheat A warming trend has been forecast tor much ot the winter wheat growing areas over the next tew days This is negative news for wheat now, until another cold snap returns and threatens the vulnerable crop again Corn bids moved slightly higher due to technical buying on the Board Overnight export purchase by South Korea was also positive to corn bids. Moisture over the past couple of days, however, limited gains Soybean Bids continued to lose ground as talks of Chinese cancellations and lack of fresh export news drove bids lower. EXPORT SALES.
