Beside their close attention to milking, they are also meticulous when it comes to cleaning the parlor at the end of their shift. “These are good guys,” Jarvis said. “When the morning shift comes in, the parlor looks like it’s brand new.” Jarvis added that he wished some of the other employees would pay that much attention to clean liness. The Jarvises recently attended a conference on Managing the Hispanic Workforce put on by Penn State and Cornell Universities.
