This year's family dairy day will focus on farm strategies for surviving and prospering during times of low milk prices on the farm. We will have dynamic speakers on the pro gram, exhibitor displays and demonstrations, door prizes, and a farmer luncheon. There will be several producer sessions on various topics in the morning for you to choose from, with the afternoon program featuring Dr. Lou Moore of Penn State speaking on "Strategies for Success on Lancaster Farms." Also in the afternoon there will be an industry forum on "Emerging Technologies for the Dairy Herd," showcasing exciting new dairy products. New this year, the Penn State Family Living program will offer pressure canner gauge testing at no charge to attendees, and an optional afternoon program for spouses on "What's New in Home Canning" and "Who Gets Grandma's Yellow Pie Plate?
