In Chicago, prices were higher on all
sizes. Prices in New York were 1 cent
higher on medium with the balance of
sizes unchanged. In all other locations,
prices were unchanged but were trending
higher on mediums. The market tone was
steady to fully steady. Demand was in a
full range oflight to fairly good. Supplies
were in good balance to at times tight for
current trade needs. Breaking stock de
llldiiii was light to occasionally good for
about sufficient to tight supplies. Light
type hens were fully adequate for the light
to fair demand.

was moderate and clearing the market at
a reasonable rate. Demand was moderate
with buyer interest and trading. Live sup
plies was moderate for the market being
reported with an estimated slaughter of
1,286,000 compared to 1,258,000 last
Tuesday. Weights were desirable. Pro
cessing schedules were moderate.
Negotiated F. 0.8. dock prices, 2
pounds and heavier ice-packed broilers
and fryers, tmcklot sales of US Grade A
or oquivalent were lower at .55 - .65 per
pound; less than tmcklot sales .os - My
per pound.
