Angus Results From Around The Region
Champion Hill Lady 2185 was named the Roll
of Victory (ROV) Show Heifer of the Year and
senior heifer calf champion of the year during
the 2001-2002 show season by the American
Angus Association. Champion Hill, Bidwell,
Ohio, and Fox Cross Farm, Alderson, W.Va.,
own the female that accumulated the most
points at recognized ROV shows during the
show season. Pictured from left during the
award presentation at the 2002 North American
International Livestock Exposition in Louisville,
Ky., includes Terry Cotton, Angus Journal; Tim
Fitzgerald, Andrea Fitzgerald, James Hum
phreys, all of Alderson, W.Va.; Lynn Hill, Bid
well, Ohio; and Bryce Schumann, American
Angus Association. In addition to the show heif
er of the year, Champion Hill and Fox Cross
Farm also owned together the junior heifer calf
champion of the year, Champion Hill Georgina
2335; and the intermediate champion heifer of
the year, Champion Hill Peg 2141.
Plainview Queen Mary 6A won grand champi
on cow-calf pair honors at the 2002 New York
State Fair Angus Show. Gallagers Farm Inc. and
Philip Trowbridge, both of Ghent, N.Y., are the
owners. An April 2002 daughter of Northern Im
provement 4480 GF is at side. John Grimes,
Hillsboro, Ohio, evaluated the 45 entries.

Angus Show, Nov. 18-19 in Louisville, Ky.

Fox, Alderson, W.Va., are the owners. Randy
Daniel, Colbert, Ga., and Frank Jackson, Ben
tonville, Ark., evaluated the 279 entries.
Heathcote Edwina 41, owned by Tyler Mort,
jQhent, N.Y., claimed grand champion female
Jflonors at the 2002 New York State Fair Angus
.Show. John Grimes, Hillsboro, Ohio, evaluated*

Bippert Farms, Alden, N.Y., showed the
grand champion bull, Precision G 147, and jun
ior champion at the New York State Fair Angus

champion cow-calf pair title at the 2002 World
Beef Expo Roll of Victory (ROV) Angus Show,
Sept. 27 in Milwaukee, Wis. Casey Blew, Mount
Hope, Kan.; McCurry Brothers, Sedgwick, Kan.;
and Fox Cross Farm, Alderson, W.Va., are the
owners. Bill Wilson, Cloverdale, Ind., evaluated
the 171 entries.

grand champion bull, Rally King Traveler 6088,
at the 2002 New York State Fair Junior Angus
Show, Aug. 27 in Syracuse, N.Y. Dan Wolcott,

the grand champion female at the 2002 Eastern
National Livestock Show’s Angus Show. Howard
