• Robert Garrett, son of John
and Charlene Garrett, hails from
Pequea in Lancaster County. Bob
is a 2002 graduate of Penn
Manor High School, where he
was a member of his school’s
FFA chapter.
He has been exhibiting market
swine at the Farm Show for five
years. He currently attends the
Penn State York campus and is
an Agriculture Education major,
with the hopes of becoming an
FFA teacher.
While in FFA, he served as the
chapter vice president, partici
pated in meats judging, mechan
ics, and poultry, and received the
Lockhart Award for outstanding
contributions to the FFA chapter.

• Jodi Fetterolf is the daughter
of Kenneth and Joan Fetterolf.
She is a sophomore at Penn
State, majoring in English Edu
cation. She is a 2001 graduate of
West Snyder High School.
Jodi was a member of the West
Snyder FFA Chapter, where she
served as Historian and Student
Advisor. For her efforts, Jodi was
rewarded with her Keystone De
gree.
She has shown market swine
at the Farm Show for eight years
and is originally from Beaver
town in Snyder County. Of her
days showing livestock, Jodi says,
“my experiences showing pigs
have laid the foundation for
growth throughout my life, and I

• Kyle Fleener hails from Ro
besonia, Lebanon County, and is
the son of Timothy and Sarah
Fleener. He is an Agriculture
Business major and currently at
tends the Penn State Berks cam
pus. Kyle is a 2002 graduate of
Eastern Lebanon High School.
He has shown market lambs at
the Farm Show for the past eight
years and captured several cham
pions in the Suffolk and Hamp
shire breeds.
Kyle placed 4th at the 2001
National 4-H Livestock Judging
Contest after his Lebanon Coun
ty team clinched first place hon
ors at the state competition. In
addition to his judging, he also
served as the vice president of his
4-H club and was named Out
standing 4-H Male by the Penn-

Of his chosen career path, he
says, “my experiences in FFA,
along with my affection for agri
culture and my aptitude for
teaching, have led me to pursue a
career as an agriculture educator.
I hope that I can have a positive
influence on my students and the
agricultural community just as
my Ag teachers have done.”
• Sarah Grim is the daughter
of Gregory Grim and Elizabeth
Landis. She comes from East
Berlin, on the border of Adams
and York counties, and has been
active in both counties in FFA
and 4-H. A 2002 graduate of Ber
mudian Springs High School, she
now attends York College, ma
joring in Secondary Education
and Mathematics.
In addition to her school activ
ities, she was active in the York
County beef and lamb clubs and
is the current president of the
beef club. Sarah has exhibited
both Angus steers and heifers at
the Farm Show, beginning in
1998. Her future plans include
becoming a high school math
teacher and continuing the cow
calf operation she began with her
family in 1992.
She says, “teaching and family
will be my main focus in the fu

• Sheena Hines hails from
Duncannon in Perry County and
is the daughter of Robert and
Deborah Hines. A 2002 graduate
of Susquenita High School, she
currently attends the Penn State
Berks campus, majoring in Ani
mal Sciences with an emphasis in
Business Management.
Sheena has exhibited market
goats, lambs, and pigs at the
Farm Show for a total of six
years. While in 4-H, she was ac
tive in the livestock club and the
county council, serving as past
president of both. Sheena was
also active in the Greenwood
FFA Chapter and earned her
Keystone Degree. In addition,
she was crowned the 2001 Penn
sylvania Lamb and Wool Prin
cess and is a former Miss Perry
County Fair Queen. Sheena says,
“living on a farm has taught me
what life is all about, like the les
sons that can not be taught in the
classroom or learned from a text
book.”
Christopher Jeffcoat is the son
of David and Deborah Jeffcoat,
Littlestown, Adams County.
