steady. Demand good for all classes.
Packers reduced kill Monday in a con
tinuing effort to bring beef in line with
live slaughter cattle figures. Monday’s
kill was 95,000 head, 25 percent less
than a year ago. Feeder market strug
gling some as the June fat board is hold
ing prices in check. Quality average.
Feeder cattle in medium to fleshy condi-
tions.
Receipts this week 10,345; last week
last year 17,615. Supply consis
ted of 76% yearlipgs and calves over
600 lbs; 21% calves; 3% cows and bulls.
Heifers comprised 44% of feeder & calf
supply. Prices follow with weighted av
