The sale kicked off with several hogs weighing from 280-350 lbs; with demand remaining pretty good for the heavier types. When the fancier straight hogs finally started rattling the gates buyers got what they came for as several lots drew active bidding. Early trading at the Western terminal markets has 220-270 lb barrows and gilts trading from 31.00-34.00.
