Market At A Glance
Atlanta, Ga.
December 30,2002
Report Supplied By USDA
Majority prices in the West were un
changed, but higher in the East and Mid
west when compared to prior week. Trade
sentiment was steady to Arm. Demand
overall was light to moderate with few re
tail ads, but often better for fast food
promotions. Supplies were in balance to
tight and held with confidence as a result
of reduced holiday schedules for this
week. In the parts structure, wings were
tight and clearing well. Breast items were
in good balance, and dark meat was at
least adequate with light interest. In pro
duction areas, live supplies were moder-'
ate at weights in a full range, but mostly
desirable.
