Milk production in Pennsylvania dur ing November totaled 863 million pounds, down 0.8 percent from last year’s production, according to the Pennsylvania Agricultural Statistics Service (PASS). The number of cows in the state during the month averaged 591,000 head, unchanged from October, but 5,000 less than No vember 2001.
