OH., ML) Compared to last week,
slaughter lambs and ewes were mostly
2.00-5.00 higher. Goats were steady. De
mand was moderate to good. Trading was
moderate. The Muslim holiday to cele
brate the end of Ramadan has lead to in
creased demand, especially for lighter
weight lambs and goats. Carlo! lamb car
cass prices in the central U.S. were sharp
ly higher for carcasses under 45 lbs. Car
casses over 45 lbs were unevenly steady.
