Retail Thanksgiving movement, as re ported by buyers, ranged from fair to good with some noting fresh demand was not as aggressive as last year and better than anticipated frozen activity. A last minute call on frozen toms before Thanksgiving had also resulted in better than anticipated movement into consum er channels. Retail whole turkey demand for the December holidays ranged light to instances good. Frozen offerings ranged from tight in the East with size availabili ty varying by packer to mixed in the West.
