These conferences will feature Larry Shearer, a dairy farmer from western Massachusetts, and Dave Surprenant, a dairy farmer from Illinois, as keynote speak ers. Larry Shearer trans formed his small dairy farm from confine ment to pasture-based and then to seasonal calving and found that each step resulted in improved profitability and way of life.
