The American Degree is the highest award the National FFA Organization can bestow upon its members. By earning this degree, Jennifer is one of a select group of individuals to be recognized for years of academic and profes sional excellence. The honor was presented on Nov. 2 in Louisville, Ky. The American FFA Degree recognized demonstrated leader ship ability and outstanding achievements in agricultural business, production, processing, or service programs. West Snyder FFA Members At State Farm-City Day At the request of the Pennsyl vania Department of Agriculture (PDA), seven members of the West Snyder FFA Chapter par ticipated in the Farm-City Day activities on Friday, Oct. 4, at the PDA budding. Farm-City Day is an annual event designed to introduce agri culture literacy to elementary children from city schools. Over 2,000 children from various Harrisburg City schools and the surrounding area participated in the event which was sponsored by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture. West Snyder FFA members who participated in the event were Cameron Hackenberg, Kelly Bedlyon, Shane Kreamer, Brad Novinger, Jeremy Roush, Tyler Miller, and Jeremy Waite.
