In Philadelphia, prices were unchanged
to two cents lower on mediums and un
changed on the larger si/cs. In Boston
and New Fngtand. prices remained un
changed. The market tone ranged steady
to barely steady. Demand into all chan
nels was moderate to good, best into
Thanksgiving feature activity. Supplies
were adequate to available on white eggs,
however brown eggs were reported as
tight Breaking stock offerings were short
to fully adequate for the light to good de
mand. Offerings of light type hens were
sufficient for slaughter requirements.

Trucklot buying activity remained very
light and selective as dealers attempted to
enter Thanksgiving with floor stocks in a
very tight balance. Offerings of breast
items were at least adequate for current
needs. Dark meat cuts were fully suffi
cient. Wings were available. Retail and
distributive movement was seasonally
sluggish. Trade sentiment continued cau
tious. The market tone was about steady.
