CATTLE* Compared to Thursday, lean slaughter
cows sold steady to weak; with the high and low dress
ing lean supply a full LOO lower. Breaking and Boning
cows sold .50-100 lower The cow run included some
very nice fleshy cows, and bidding was fairly active,
however, buyer attendance was light Losses in the lean
cow category could have been worse as buyers indicat
ed that the heavy runs are starting to outweigh their
chain speeds Slaughter bulls sold Arm to 3 00 higher
Slaughter cows made up nearly 42 percent of the run

lbs supply Buyer interest was especially good on the
small goats early in the day, trailing off as loads were
filled Nannies sold 2 00-10 00 higher Nannies were in
both good supply and demand Billies sold mixed, from
8.00 higher to 8 00 lower, with most of the increase on
the heavy and light weight supply, as middle weights
collected most of the lower bids. Wethers sold 2.00-8.00
lower, with Wethers tipping the scales over 100 lbs
trending sharply lower The quality of the supply was
about average for all classes, however buyers were
