Dairy proces sors, retailers, and marketing experts will outline 21st Century techniques at the Maryland Dairy In dustry Association’s (MDIA) 2002 annual meeting. The program on Tuesday, Nov. 26, will discuss innovations designed to assure eco nomic viability of Maryland’s $1 billion dairy industry in the opening years of the 21st Century, accord ing to MDIA president Myron L. Wilhide of Detour (Carroll County), Maryland. More than 150 dairy producers and indus try representatives are expected to participate in the MDIA 2002 Annual Meeting at the New Midway Volun teer Fire Company, 1204 S Woodsboro Pike (Md. Route 194), in this Frederick County community. Resource panels in clude officials from Mid-Atlantic Dairy Association, Dairy Maid Dairy, Giant Food, Inc., Marva Maid, Inc., South Mountain Creamery, National Milk Produc ers Federation, and Moxley’s Ice Cream.
