Election Day
In the poem "Election Day is a Holiday." Ogden Nash
said, “They have such retmed and delicate palates /
That they can discover no one worthy ot their ballots /
'Vnd then when someone terrible gets elected / They
say, "There, that’s just what I expected l ” We heai a lot
about voting for the lesser ot two evils, or having no
choice at the ballot box But wouldn't it be better to
date or make the best
k choice among the candi
dates than to do nothing’’
7v People have fought hard
to gam the right to vote
Use youi right, and speak your mind on November 5'
Your ovary valor, as surely as your chief
magistrate, exercises a public trust.
-Grover Cleveland 22nd and 24th U S president (1837-1908)
