Trade sentiment was at least steady in
the East, generally steady elsewhere. Re
tail demand was slow to fair with limited
ad activity. Food service was light to
moderate, best where fast food specials
were active. Supplies of heavier weights
were well balanced in the East with some
premiums, but ample in the West; smaller
sizes were adequate. In the parts struc
ture, trading was mixed. Breast items
were in the best balance, at time closely
cleared for bone-in. Dark meat was fully
sufficient, and wings were in the longest
position with little interest In production
areas, live supplies were moderate.
Weights were in a full range.

Prices were higher on all sizes in all
areas. The market tone was mostly firm.
Demand was modcrateto good with fea
tures providing some extra movement.
Supplies were usually adequate to occa
sionally tight anti confidently held.
Breaking stock offerings were tight to suf
ficient for the moderate to good demand.
Light type fowl were at least adequate to
fully sufficient for processing needs.
