Since April, wc’vc been adding an hour to our days tor
Daylight Saving Time Now, on October 27, at 2 00
A m , we “fall back" and lose an hour as we slide into
the dark days of autumn and winter Ancient Druids
worried that the Sun might disappear entirely over
the touise of the wintei and leave them in complete
darkness From these fears came the ntual bonfires and
candlelightmgs (jack-o’-lanterns) that are
part of many holiday celebrations today,
