Trucklot buying activity remained light
and unaggressive as dealers found little
impetus to extend floor stocks beyond
most immediate needs.
Offerings of breast items were ample
with continued discounting noted.
Dark meat cuts were sufficient. Wings
were adequate. Livers and gizzards were
no more than adequate. Movement
through retail and distributive channels
was limited. The market tone was at least
steady on dark meat cuts and wings, but
barely steady to weak on breast items.
