Impressive Yield Data In Kentucky, Zorro was the highest yielding variety in all three locations in 1999 (Lexington) and 2000 (Bowling Green and Princeton) fall plantings. The 1999 Lexington, KY trial yielded a combined fall 1999 and 2000 yield of 12,760 lbs of dry matter. From that same planting a 2001 spring harvest yielded 1,920 lbs, bringing the total yield for Zorro to 14,680 or 7.33 tons of dry matter.
