Mostly prices were unchanged to slight
ly higher on whites and ranged from un
changed to lower on the balance of prod
ucts when compared to previous week’s
trading. The market tone improved at the
lower levels but was still in a steady to
barely steady position. Trading and de
mand was only fair. Supplies were irregu
lar but usually available if needed. Liquid
and frozen eggs (ingredients included)
processed under federal inspection in the
Eastern region for the week ending Au
gust 24, 2002 were unchanged from the
previous week, but 2% lower than a year
ago.
