slaughter steers opened Monday steady,
but closed on Tuesday 1.00 lower. Trad
ing was slow to moderate, with light to
moderate demand. Holstein steers
.50-1.00 lower. Slaughter heifers not well
tested, with a lower undertone noted.
Slaughter cows were steady to 1.00 lower.
Slaughter bulls steady on a light test-Sup
ply included 46 percent slaughter steers
and 45 percent cows.
