Mostly prices were unchanged on
whites, unchanged to slightly higher on
whole, but unchanged to slightly lower on
yolks when compared to last week’s trad
ing. Trade sentiment improved and was
usually steady. Demand was only fair, al
though movement was fairly good due in
part to previous commitments. Supplies
were sufficient on most items. Liquid and
frozen eggs (ingredients included) pro
cessed under federal inspection in the
Eastern region for the week ending July
13, 2002 were 14% more than the previ
ous week and 1% higher than a year ago.
