Touch-me-not or Jewel
weed is a native species
that can often be found
near streams and other wet
areas. The flowers are ei
ther orange or yellow and
the seed pod, when ripe,
will eject the seeds several
feet. Although Duane has
never tried to propogate
jewelweed, he thinks if
planted in a shaded, wet
area with soil containing a
lot of organic matter will
work.
