Trade sentiment was steady to fully
steady on fresh tom breast meat and fresh
destrapped tenderloins. Light inquiry was
noted on fresh tom breast meat for
prompt shipments for post holiday needs,
otherwise, demand fair with some buyers
taking their normal commitments for
next week. Offerings ranged from light at
best for prompt deliveries to adequate for
deferred. Domestic and export trading
was light on all items with activity cen
tered on frozen young hen thigh meat and
hen 2-joint wings for domestic shipments.

Movement of ready-to cook whole birds
was fair to good and sufficient in keeping
the bulk of seller offerings in decent bal
ance for immediate delivery. Live supplies
were moderate; weights were mostly de
sirable to heavy. Processing schedules
were moderate to moderately heavy. Less
than trucklot asking prices were un
changed at 57 to 71 cents. Trade senti
ment was fully steady. In the parts com
plex, inquiry centered mainly on balanced
to tight supplies of bone-in breasts. Other
cuts were irregularly balanced but gener
ally adequate.
