Weekly Meat Production Under Federal Inspection
WASHINGTON, D.C., May 24 - (USDA-NASS) - Total red meat
production under federal inspection for the week ending Sat., May 25,
was estimated at 895.1 million lbs., according to the USDA's
Agricultural Marketing Service. This was 0.0% lower than a week ago
and 0.8% higher than a year ago. Cumulative meat production for the
year to date was 2.5% higher compared to the previous year.
