Weekly Meat Production Under Federal Inspection
WASHINGTON, D.C., Apr. 26 - (USDA-NASS) - Total red meat
production under federal inspection for the week ending Sat, Apr 27,
was estimated at 911.4 million lbs., according to the USDA's
Agricultural Marketing Service This was 1.7% higher than a week ago
and 8.1% higher than a year ago. Cumulative meat production for the
year to date was 2.4% higher compared to the previous year.
