and Calves Receipts; 1,033, last week 917.
Slaughter cows were steady to 1.00 lower,
bulls were 2.00 higher. Feeder calves were
mostly 1.00-6.00 lower. Slaughter cows
and bulls 18 percent. Replacement pairs
and feeder cows 5 percent. Feeder steers
and bulls under 600 lbs 45 percent, over
600 lbs 8 percent; feeder heifers under 600
lbs 22 percent, over 600 lbs 2 percent.
Slaughter Cows: Breakers 75-80 per
cent lean 850-1500 lbs 34.50- 40.00, high
dressing 40.50-43.00; Boners 80-85 per
cent 850-1400 lbs 36.50-41.50, high dress
