slaughter steers opened Monday 1.00
lower, to close Tuesday fully steady. Early
sales opened on a slow start but Tuesdays
market closed active on attractive offer
ings. Holstein steers traded steady.
Slaughter heifers not well tested but a
lower undertone noted on a few late sales.
Slaughter cows sold mostly steady.
Slaughter bulls steady on a light test. Sup
ply included 51 percent slaughter steers
and 39 percent cows.
