Market At A Glance
Atlanta, Ga.
April 10,2002
Report Supplied By USD A
The market tone was steady at best.
Retail demand was slow to fairly good,
usually better where promotions were
present. Food service covered the full
range with best movement for specials in
the fast food sector. Supplies were ade
quate to ample with heavier sizes more
available. In the parts structure trading
reflected irregularities. Boneless skinless
breasts were adequate to ample, leg quar
ters and bone-in breast were balanced to
close and clearing. Wings were readily
available and slow to move. In production
areas, live supplies were moderate with
weights desirable to heavy, mostly desira
ble.
