CATTLE: Compared to last Thursday,
slaughter steers sold 2.00-3.00 lower.
Quality was mostly average to plain, few
attractive. Holstein steers traded steady
on a large supply. Slaughter heifers not
well tested but a lower undertone noted.
Slaughter cows traded very active and
prices closed steady. Slaughter bulls were
steady to 1.00 higher on a limited supply.
Supply included 52 percent slaughter
steers and 34 percent cows.

and Prime 2-4 few lots and singles
1150-1465 lbs 73.00-75.75, individual
1430 lbs 76.50; 1480-1535 lbs 70.50-75.25.
