(Professional Staff – Level 12). The manager will
be responsible for:
Supervision of 3 salaried staff in all aspects of job
plannlng/organlzation of dally schedule in conjunction
with other units.
Assist in planning, design, construction & mainte
nance of buildings, roads, fences, etc.
Assist researchers, faculty and extension personnel
with planning, organization & completion of projects.
Manage all phases of crop production
Must practice sound agronomy practices.
Requirements; Bachelor's degree in Agronomy pre
ferred (or other related Agriculture field) and two years
of farm/torage production and management experience.
Related progressively responsible job experience
beyond an Associates degree/two years college-level
course work may be substituted for required education.
Must have or be able to obtain a Delaware Pesticide
Applicator's License. Class A Driver's License required
and subject to Department of Transportation physical.
Required to work both inside and outside in heat/cold to
perform emergency maintenance tasks; required to use
personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to
pesticides and will be required to do manual labor.
Requires ability to move, lift and/or carry, with or with
out assistance, equipment and job related materials
weighing up to 50 pounds.
