CATTLE; Compared to last Thursday,
slaughter steers and heifers sold mostly
steady. Quality was mostly average to
plain, with a large supply of heavy cattle
on offer. Holstein steers steady on a light
test. Slaughter cows traded very active
and prices closed steady to firm. Slaugh
ter bulls were steady. Supply included 46
percent slaughter steers and 35 percent
cows.
