CONNECTICUT PORK PRODUCERS
ASSOCIATION ,
The Connecticut Pork Producers Association will
hold their annual meeting on April 6, 2002 in
conjunction with their SWINE EDUCATION DAY at
the Hicks Arena of the College of Agriculture and
Natural Resources at the University of Connecticut,
Storrs, Connecticut. The program will begin at 9 AM
with a judging seminar followed by a Youth Judging
Contest and Youth Swine Quiz Bowl. The education
program is scheduled to include an update on local
marketing initiatives and a report on developments
at the National Pork Board and National Pork
Producers Council.
The annual meeting will convene at 12 noon for
the election of directors of the Connecticut Pork
Producers Association. The directors will meet
immediately following for the purpose of electing
officers for the 2002 year.
Bred gilts will be available through prior contract
only with Mr. Leon Arnold of Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
