WASHINGTON, DC , Feb 22- (USDA-NASS) - Total red meat produc
tion under federal inspection for the week ending Sat, Feb 23, was estimat
ed at 867 4 million lb, according to the USDA's Agricultural Marketing
Service This was I I % lower than a week ago and 4 I % higher than a year
ago Cumulative meat production for the year to dale was 09% higher com
pared to the pres ious year
